Terms

Who these terms are between
These terms govern use of MeasureLayer by the organisation whose workspace you belong to, and by you as a user of it. If you are using MeasureLayer on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
What the service is
MeasureLayer measures how often AI answer engines name and cite a brand in response to buyer-intent questions, and reports the result with a ranked list of recommended fixes. Access is by account: you can sign up with a work email and create a workspace, be invited into one, or join through an approved email domain.
What a measurement is, and is not
Answers from AI engines are non-deterministic. The same question asked twice can produce different answers, with different brands named and different sources cited. Figures are currently produced from a single sample per question and engine, so small differences between two audits should be read as measurement noise rather than as movement.
Recommendations are predictions, not guarantees. Nobody, including us, can guarantee that a brand will be named or ranked first in an AI answer. Nothing in the product or its reports should be read as such a promise.
We measure the answer engines through their published interfaces. That is a faithful proxy for what buyers see, not a byte-for-byte reproduction of every consumer app.
Your responsibilities
Keep your credentials secure, use the service lawfully, and do not attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or the usage metering. Do not use MeasureLayer to impersonate a brand you are not authorised to act for.
Report links are unguessable but public to anyone holding them. Share them deliberately.
Credits and usage
Audits are metered in credits, where one credit is one engine call. Credits are consumed when an audit starts and are returned automatically if the audit fails outright. Credit balances have no cash value and are not refundable except as required by law or as separately agreed in writing.
Your content
You keep ownership of the briefs, brand information, and other content you put intoMeasureLayer. You grant us the access needed to run the service on it: to send your questions to the answer engines, to store the results, and to produce your reports.
Availability
The service is provided as it stands, without warranty. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not currently offer an uptime commitment.
Ending it
You may stop using MeasureLayer at any time and ask us to close your workspace. We may suspend access for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where required by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and we will tell workspace administrators before they take effect.
